A new Dealer Show Boat, the 2024 Johnson 70 Skylounge INDIGO offers the amenities of a larger vessels with a four-stateroom layout, enclosed Skylounge helm, and expansive entertaining spaces. She is exceptionally equipped with “at rest” stabilization, a hydraulic tender platform, and much more; and she is backed by a full five-year CAT engine warranty. INDIGO is U.S. duty paid – no extra tariffs – and presents a rare opportunity to acquire a virtually new Johnson 70 with the fit and finish of a showcase vessel.

INDIGO is the first of Johnson’s new 70-foot Skylounge models, delivering impressive volume, accommodations and advanced systems within a highly versatile platform designed for extended cruising and owner enjoyment.

Boarding begins at the wide hydraulic swim platform, which serves as both a tender-lifting platform and a swim platform when lowered. From there, teak steps lead to the covered aft deck, where built-in seating for five surrounds a height-adjustable varnished table. Docking stations are positioned to port and starboard, while a recently added stainless-steel drink refrigerator makes this an ideal outdoor gathering space.

The aft deck opens directly into the main salon, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor connection. With no bulkheads separating the salon, dining area and galley, the main deck feels exceptionally open. The salon features a large L-shaped settee, additional settee seating, a pop-up 55-inch Samsung TV and large side windows for natural light. Forward and to port is the dining area with seating for five, while the open C-shaped galley opposite incorporates quartz counters, a four-burner cooktop, Isotherm refrigerator and freezer, dishwasher and extensive cherry cabinetry.

Below deck is a practical four-stateroom arrangement. A full-beam master suite aft features a king berth, abundant storage, entertainment system and a nearly full-beam ensuite head. Two twin guest staterooms sit amidships – the port side offers two single fixed berths while the starboard side has the option of sliding the two berths together. A shared head for these two twin staterooms is accessed from the centerline companionway. Forward, the private VIP suite features a centerline queen berth, substantial storage and its own ensuite head. A separate washer and dryer are conveniently located in the companionway.

Above, the Skylounge is one of INDIGO’s defining features. Accessible from both the salon and the exterior bridge deck, this area encompasses an L-shaped settee, entertainment center, dual drink refrigerators and a sophisticated centerline helm. The Garmin electronics package includes dual 17-inch multifunction displays, open-array radar, AIS, autopilot, sounder, VHF and CAT engine displays.

Outside, the partially shaded bridge deck provides aft-facing seating, three chaise lounges and access to the coach roof. Forward, the bow offers molded seating and a sunbed.

For extended cruising, INDIGO is equipped with twin 1,150-hp Caterpillar C-18A diesels, hydraulic bow and stern thrusters, “At Rest” stabilization, a 29-kW generator, watermaker, and wastewater treatment system. The full five-year CAT engine warranty will start upon sale to the first owner. Recent 2025/26 updates include bottom paint and Propspeed, additional refrigeration, a new folding swim-platform step and other maintenance.
