RISK & REWARD is a 120’ Pilothouse yacht custom-built by Crescent Custom Yachts in 2004 and designed by renowned naval architect Jack Sarin. She combines timeless styling with an elegant interior, an exceptionally spacious four-stateroom layout plus a gym, and outstanding seakeeping and cruising performance. RISK & REWARD underwent a major refit in 2022, with the current owner adding significant upgrades including motorized salon shades, electric motion-sensing salon entry doors, and a state-of-the-art AV system.

RISK & REWARD was crafted in Vancouver, Canada, by Crescent Custom Yachts, a builder known for its commitment to quality and excellence. Crescent Custom Yachts continues to support vessels such as RISK & REWARD while offering new builds across a variety of models. With a cruising speed of 17 knots and a maximum speed of 21 knots, RISK & REWARD delivers an impressive combination of performance, comfort, and stability.

Lovingly maintained by three proud owners, RISK & REWARD is presented in exceptional condition. The interior, originally designed by Robin Rose, features a seamless flow throughout, with raised-panel mahogany and an exquisite selection of stonework that balances elegance and comfort. The second and present owners have completed significant interior enhancements, including new furnishings, soft goods, and carpeting. A complete list of upgrades can be found in the listing specifications.

Interior:

RISK & REWARD offers multiple convenient points of access, including boarding ladders amidships on either side and the primary entrance through the double electric doors on the aft deck.

Stepping through the aft doors, the spacious salon immediately impresses with its light, airy ambiance. Light fabrics and furnishings are complemented by warm, beautifully crafted raised mahogany cabinetry. To port, a large settee is paired with an armchair and coffee table, while two armchairs, including one with an ottoman, are positioned to starboard. Forward, the formal dining area comfortably accommodates eight guests in upholstered chairs around a beautiful mahogany table. Plush carpeting, recently replaced, extends throughout the salon and dining area.

Forward to starboard, the dining area leads to a formal foyer with an exterior entrance door, hanging closet, and access to the expansive country galley. Designed for both entertaining and everyday use, the galley features a center island, a U-shaped settee with table, and two additional chairs. All soft goods have been recently replaced. Light-colored cabinetry, white countertops, and large windows create a bright and inviting space filled with natural light. A full entertainment system with a 32” Samsung TV is also incorporated into the galley.

Forward of the galley and down a set of steps is the VIP stateroom, featuring a queen berth, ensuite bathroom with shower, large closet, and ample storage. A 34” Samsung TV provides full entertainment capabilities.

From the salon and dining area, a second entrance to port provides access to the day head and the staircase leading to the guest foyer below. Forward in the guest foyer is the spacious master suite, featuring a king berth and a starboard settee with access to the generously sized master bathroom. The ensuite includes two sinks, a large shower, toilet, and vanity. To port, a substantial walk-in closet provides extensive hanging and storage space along with dedicated shoe racks. Additional storage is found throughout the master suite, which also features a 42” LG TV and entertainment system.

Further forward in the guest foyer are two additional guest staterooms. One features twin berths with a Pullman berth, while the other offers a queen berth. Both staterooms include ensuite bathrooms with showers, closets, ample storage, entertainment systems, and TVs.

A dedicated gym is located off the guest foyer and is equipped with a Peloton bike and additional exercise equipment. Opposite the gym is a discreetly integrated laundry area with a Bosch washer and Miele Pro dryer.

Pilothouse, Bridge Deck & Sun Deck:

From the starboard-side formal foyer, a staircase leads to the raised pilothouse, which is comprehensively equipped with navigation and communication systems. The pilothouse includes a helm seat, a compact office area with desk and chair, and a raised settee with teak table.

A short staircase leads from the pilothouse to the spacious bridge deck. The upper helm features two helm seats plus an additional helm seat to starboard. Two large settees flank the space, each complemented by beautiful teak tables and teak chairs, creating an ideal setting for alfresco lunches or dinners. A custom hardtop provides welcome protection from both sun and weather, while the entire bridge deck is finished in beautiful teak decking.

Aft of the bridge deck, three steps lead down to the expansive sun deck. Here, a complete bar is equipped with an ice maker, refrigerator, BBQ, and three bar stools. Sun pads are positioned on either side, with a Jacuzzi forward of the starboard sun pad. The Jacuzzi can be covered to create additional sun-pad space.

Further aft, a large sun lounger provides additional seating and storage beneath. Two jet skis are positioned to either side, with a crane available for launching and retrieval. A covered stairway to starboard provides access to the aft deck while helping keep the weather out of the living areas below.

Aft Deck, Swim Platform & Crew Quarters:

The aft deck offers another inviting outdoor gathering space, centered around a large settee with a beautiful teak table and three teak chairs. Forward to port is a striking stone bar top with teak trim, accompanied by four swivel bar stools.

Wide stairways on either side of the aft deck lead down to the expansive swim platform, which is ideally suited for water sports, tender operations, and easy access to the water. A watertight door from the swim platform provides access to the lazarette, crew area, and engine room. These spaces are also accessible from the aft deck through a dedicated doorway and staircase.

The crew quarters accommodate up to six crew across three cabins, with three heads.

Side Decks & Bow

Among RISK & REWARD’s many notable features are her covered walk-around decks, providing safe and convenient passage for both guests and crew from bow to stern. Her impressive 25’7” beam provides generous interior volume while still allowing for these protected side decks.

At the bow, a dedicated seating area offers a particularly appealing vantage point while entering a favorite port or enjoying time underway.
